Diamond Craft has a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents or alterations to the product. If a knob or handle breaks or becomes malfunctional, we will make a replacement without inquiry as to the cause provided the purchaser pays a nominal fee for such handle or knob. So, do not test the durability by running over the pan with your monster truck. 3. Where is the cookware manufactured? Made in the USA. 4. How does it compare the other brands of cookware? When comparing stainless steel cookware, there are 3 main attributes to evaluate: A. Construction - 304 19-9 surgical stainless steel. 7 ply throughout the entire pan, sides and bottoms for even distribution of heat. Also, an energy saving whistle valve vent system. B. First, Stainless steel is the generic name for a number of different steels. There are many diverse properties (corrosion, heat resistance, strength, magnetic, etc.) of stainless steel. Grade 304 is the most specified grade - it accounts for more than 50% of stainless steel produced in the world. It is used extensively in consumer products and appliances, and equipment for domestic and commercial kitchens and hospitals. The 19-9 represents the stainless steel alloy of being 73% carbon steel + 19% chromium + 9% nickel.
